The Biggest Day of the Year

*Heath Ledger Joker voice* And here we go..

Since the hyped Christopher Wallace biopic Notorious comes to a theater near you tomorrow, I'm official declaring the next 24 hours Biggie Day. Which means I'll be upping some of Frank White's most celebrated classics and some personal favorites from my digital vaults.

So, let's start with a bang, shall we? The good fellas Kevin Nottingham of This Is Hip Hop and Ivan Rott of Hip Hop Is Read compiled the samples to BIG's heralded double-disc Life After Death, including originals from Al Green (sampled by RZA for "Long Kiss Goodnight"), The Dramatics (sampled by 6 July & Puffy for "Somebody's Gotta Die") and Diana Ross (sampled by Stevie J & Puffy for "Mo' Money Mo' Problems").

Check back for more fire from the G.O.A.T., peep the track list below and download link for the sample set, Enjoy!
