What A Great Feeling

[yea, not gonna get the rest of the government, sorry y'all]

.. After years of bustin' my ass day-in and day-out trying to excel in my classes, I feel pretty damn great right about now. This right here is the culmination of arguably the best 4-years I'll ever experience, so I feel a certain type of way looking at this.. piece of paper.

Anyone that already has or is working for a degree knows what it takes to successfully complete those credits - caffeine-aided, sleep-deprived nights of papers and exams studying and online exams and homework and studyingand online homework (did I mention studying?) and a whole lot of motivation.

Don't get me wrong, I partied with the best of 'em in Scarlet Knight country. Words can't describe my life as a college kid, I'll let the memory tell it. But all that work, in the library and on the alchy, finally paid off for this moment - I gotta cherish this shit.

The Thornton Bros are at it again, FINALLY! Call their strategy the opposite of Weezy's as coke-rap connossiuers the Clipse put out material here-and-there to tease fans rather than on a daily basis to bombard the airwaves.

Along with their newest endeavor - Malice and Pusha T's Play Cloths clothing line hits stores this Friday - they teamed up with Complex Mag for Road To Till The Casket Drops, a prequel mixtape to the duo's long-awaited third LP Till The Casket Drops.

And, what do ya know, they were gracious enough to bless the 'net with the tape's intro. Props fellas, you got me on the edge of my seat waiting for my next fix.

... I could show you what my paper like! Especially with my new j-o-b that started today, the real world's a bitch but it had to happen sooner or later.

Anyway, what's had me hooked on Clipse since day uno is how it's obvious Malice and Pusha T put ample thought into their lyrics. This talented Virginia duo flies under the commercial radar but continues to gain much-deserved critical acclaim with their fly, dopeboy personas - it doesn't hurt that this beat is certified flames.. Enjoy!

What A Perfect Day for This to Leak....

As the post-Super Bowl G-men victory celebration continues with tomorrow's parade in the city, the timing is impeccable for Re-Up Gang to put out their highly-anticipated We Got It 4 Cheap, Vol. 3 The Spirit of Competition. The currently leaked version doesn't have DJ Drama yapping all over it, which I personally prefer to keep it strictly Pusha T, Malice, Ab-Liva & Sandman over familiar beats.
