.. I don't care what any critics say, Akon is fine by me. Yeah, his tracks are played out as fuck especially on New York radio. Yeah, he sounds dumb similar on every song. I told y'all, I do not care - I think Akon is cool and enjoy an occasional dose of his R&B riddims.

With that said, this new track with Wyclef comes at a perfect time in my life and I'm lovin' it, aight? I don't usually delve into my personal life, but I'm dealing with some ish right now and this song got me feelin' better about it - haters, slow ya roll.

Friday Randomness

I know it ain't the Matrix but I'm feelin' like the one right now

.. It feels great to be off of work early, I had to go in early but I'm out now and it's glorious!

I'm not feeling that holiday hangover because I know we've still got maaad food left and today I started my shopping for Christmas - online, of course, there's too many idiots out today. Now that I'm getting my money up it feels good to buy the right things rather than piecing gifts together like I did throughout college.

Don't think I forgot about y'all, my loyal readers - I've got some jams that'll start your weekend off right. First, The Drought Is Over 6 leaked on Thanksgiving and Wayne's got some serious heat on it - I've upped a couple of my favorite songs.

I also got my hands on an "Arab Money" remix featuring Everyone, a Jadakiss exclusive with Weezy from DJ Plus' Expensive Taste, and a Common track apparently from Universal Mind Control featuring a hook by the off-the-wall Cee-Lo Green.

...Because there's less than a month left in my semester, then it's a Screenwriting summer class and then getting that diploma yessir! Still looking for that job, but one step at a time.

I had a big week in the Inside Beat coming out Thursday here at Rutgers New Bruns, I'll post my South Park Season 12 review, a cover story on the demise of TV theme songs and a review of Moby's latest Last Night. Next week will be even BIGGER with my review of Nas' Nigger and the new 30 Rock season A.K.A. the wittiest show on prime-time, network TV.
