Historical Performances

Just got over my Inauguration-induced hangover and I'm ready to recollect the historic performances we saw last night as the Obama's partied the night away.

Up top is my favorite one, Jay-Z's "History" at the Neighborhood Ball. One thing though - is anyone else sick of them glasses Jigga has been rocking non-stop lately? I understand once in a while but they seem to be a permanent fixture of his face lately.

The rest below include Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, Shakira, Sting, Adam Levine of Maroon 5, and Faith Hill. I was like a kid in the candy store last night seeing all of the ladies on stage together, I think Alicia and Shakira looked the best (sorry B, I still got love for ya).

8 Diagrams, Kanye West Performs Hey Mama, & Jay's Dead Presidents Part 3

This video of Kanye performing "Hey Mama," one of his most emotional tracks, literally brought tears to my eyes - just watch. Props to my boy LowKey for this one, thanks homes.



So what does [dom corleone] have planned for his Saturday? I'll be listening to that Carnival II that I started last night but also the retail 8 Diagrams just leaked (shouts to ItsBX!). I think these two right here, not to mention Ghostface & Styles P new ones that should pop up on the 'Net soon, should distract me enough from my class work I've been neglecting since last Wed.

Here is a new one in the Dead Presidents series from the Jigga man (he will never retire from music) and a heater off Wu-Tang's CD since I'll be outside for a lil' bit and the sun is shining in Jersey.
