Aight hip-hoppers, go 'head and hand me a big fat late pass on this one. I deserve it.

Honestly, I totally forgot producer extraordinaire 9th Wonder put out Wonder Years: 9th Wonder Golden Years Remixes this past January, prolly 'cause it's a vinyl-only remix disc and my vinyl game has fallen off as of late now that I don't DJ.

But I was strollin' the Slumz and spotted it, and man am I glad I did. North Carolina-native 9th Wonder is a monster on the boards, whether (formally) flipping samples as a part of Little Brother or chopping it up for everyone from Jay-Z to Erykah Badu to Jean Grae.

Here, 9th uses his magic touch to remix classics from Ghostface, De La Soul and Pete Rock & CL Smooth plus jams from Pharrell & Jay-Z, Amerie and Common and more.

.. all day today, so I had to bless these glorious innanets with some audio goodness.

Apparently, the leaked T.I. verse from his collab with Dre & Nas was a reference verse for Detox. How does shit like this leak, Dre? Get your camp together and talk strategy, this is just unacceptable when it comes to your high hopes for the album. For us bloggers though? Shiiiit, we love it. Keep 'em coming.

..And they do keep coming today as another T.I. verse from a reference version of "Shit Popped Off," another joint supposedly from Detox. With songs like these, Dre could put it out without spitting a bar, just on the production, and it'd be classic. T.I.'s pen game is on fire right now.

Other noteworthy leakage today includes unreleased Drake plus Clipse featuring Pharrell, new Lil' Wayne, Moxberg featuring Jadakiss, Colin Munroe featuring Young Buck (you read it right, Get Buck with the Unsung Hero) and a remix by 88-Keys, Pac Div, and RJD2.

This week flew by, whew. T.I. shut down Hammerstein Ballroom on Wednesday night with special guests Slim from 112 and Jamie Foxx. Then, I took a much-needed day off yesterday to get some shopping done and watch my alma mater's football team guarantee their 4th consecutive bowl bid, tearing Louisville a new one 63-14.

This one came outta nowhere - I had no idea Outkast was blessing DJ Drama's new album with a heater but here it is. Andre 3000 goes bonkers on this one, proving why he is in my top 5 (hi haters). Hopefully, he's over his soft, sing-song Idlewild self and continues to provide quality Southern-fried goodness. Big Boi doesn't slouch here either - is anyone else thinking they'd love to hear a new Outkast album amidst all the one-hit wonders and gimmicks? Yezzur!

Now, I love feel-good music. You know, the type of jams that you can relax to. This track right here is a new Pharrell/Clipse collab. It's good to see the Thornton bros and Skateboard P can still make songs together despite the label issues. Don't know if the Neptunes made this beat or not but I'm looking forward to hearing these two complex, coke-rap connoisseurs in '08.
