We've also got a crazy type collab this morning off N.A.S.A.'s upcoming LP Spirit of Apollo dropping February 27. "The Mayor" features The Cool Kids, Ghostface, and Scarface - How's that for a multi-regional line-up?

.. Here's some freshness to vibe to on a rainy Thursday in the Tri-State, and it's another Mick Boogie creation 'cause dude is killing the net mix-tape game right now.

I had this one on file for a couple days but should have peeped it ASAP when I downloaded. Teaming with DJ Treat and Complex Magazine, Boogie dropped Leaders of the New Cool, an amalgamation of up-and-coming lyricists building a heavy buzz across the blogosphere and rap mags alike.

You can catch me covering the retro-rap connoisseurs the Cool Kids as they infiltrate Rutgers U's Livingston campus this upcoming Saturday. omprised of Mikey Rock and Chuck Inglish, these Mid-west newcomers pay homage to 80's hip-hop influences like Eric B. and Rakim with stripped-down, bass-thumping beats and flashy rhymes.
